Clayborn has a Jammin' July
Clayborn BMX has a Jammin' July!

July has to be the hottest month of the year, not just the summer time heat, but the BMX season is in full swing. AA Pro Barry Nobles continues the winning ways with a BIG win at the NBL Music City National, all of the top AA Pros were in attendance including many who will be racing for their respective countries at the 2008 Olympic Games. With the crowd behind their Southern hero, when the gate dropped Barry found his way to the front of the pack and with nothing between him and the finish line all Barry could think about was not only winning, but the super cool guitar that was up for grabs to the winning AA Pro. Also in Nashville, Clayborn BMX's ankle bitter, Gabe Barwick showed that hard work will pay off. Gabe is making waves in the expert class and being this is his first season as an expert, people are taking notice. Gabe pilots that Clayborn mini over jumps and does it with style, keep your eyes on this lil' guy.

Over on the ABA side of things, Barry ended the month of July in the Number 2 spot of the ABA Pro Series and with good results at the rest of the AA Pro Series races, Barry has a good shot at the coveted ABA Pro Title. Barry went out to Roseville, CA and made the main on Saturday taking in a 5th and then being bumped out on Sunday, but making the podium in Pro Cruiser helped the pain. Insane Brooke Crain continued making the making the mains in both class and cruiser in one of the toughest classes in the ABA, on Brooke did the double dance, winning both class and cruiser, making her quest for that #1 title within her reach.  Jordan "the Missile" Miranda was back on his bike after a tough injury and making the mains in class and open. Jordan is working hard to get back in top form after his broke leg sidelined him for a while, he is always a force when he is on the gate and the hard work is paying off. Next it was off to beautiful Salt Lake City, Utah, where Barry was ready to add some more podium finishes to his name and that is just what he did, taking 3rd on Saturday and a big win on Sunday in that hard AA Pro class. Cruiser was rough on Saturday with a 8th place finish after sliding out and then on Sunday, a battle with Danny C. for the win, Barry did all he could, but Danny held him off, but the 2nd place finish was well deserved, these two are going have some great races in Tulsa. Then the last stop of the Clayborn crew saw the Dynamic Duo of Brooke and Jordan head out to Tucson, AZ for small track racing at it's best to start the month of August. Coming to do what they do best and make the mains and fly the Orange and Blue of Clayborn BMX and they did just that. Jordan decided he wanted to hit the cruiser class for the rest of the season and he showed that class he was there and was going to be a force to deal with. Brooke added some much needed points on route to that awesome ABA #1 title for the year.

If you are coming out to Reno, make sure to look up the Clayborn Crew and get an sweet new Barry Nobles sticker. Just look for the Orange and Blue, we will not be hard to find.
